We have some really exciting news at Sillier Than Sally! My nutty sister Cara and I have been getting ready for a huge market weekend coming up at the end of this month - Finders Keepers!
.....Whoohooo!! Sorry I am still a tad excited about this =)
If you have never been to Finders Keepers Markets before, It is probably high time you treated yourself & popped in for a sticky beak (believe me you will not be disappointed), if you have been before....then of course you know all about the awesomeness that is Finders Keepers!
So come on down, say hello, check out the inspiring art and design makers from Australia wide, there will be loads of live music/bands a famers lane and interesting foodie stalls there as well...and of course an extremely well stocked bar, for a sneaky beverage in the afternoons =)
Note to previous FK's goers - VENUE CHANGE!
FK's is now being held on the other side of the tracks in The Exhibition Hall, at Australian Technology Park, just off Redfern Station, Sydney. It is an easy 5 min walk from the station.
Check out our profile page on the Finders Keepers Website, you can also get more details on the markets here, like directions and other juicy tidbits.

Hello hello....yes it has been a while...but as you are all such lucky buggers, I am never that far away =)
It's been a lot of fun times in the Sillier Than Sally Land lately.....I have been completely immersed in creating art of all shape and sizes. I seriously love that art has taken over my life =)
On that note, I have entered the "Yen Young Art Australian Award" It is an annually held Art Award by "Yen Magazine" who have a strong tradition of supporting upcoming female talent! Sneak Peak above of the art piece I have entered.
Winner and runners up hold an exhibition at Gaffa Gallery in Sydney, and I would LOVE (love, love, love) to be involved in the exhibition! So please check out my entry HERE and vote away for my painting, it is a quick and painless process, I promise =)
VOTING - Please click on the grey "Vote For Peoples Choice" button on the right hand side of my entry page. You can also click on the "Like" button to spread the word on Facebook, which I would be forever grateful for =)
Plenty of lovely artwork has been submitted from around Australia, so if you see one better deserving of a vote, then I wont hold that against you =)
The award wraps up on Wednesday (the 22nd) so get voting and sharing before then.
Peace, love and mungbeans to all.
